In the early 1940s, my father, not yet married, went to the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition), a large annual fair held in Toronto, Canada and bought a number of Indian engraved brass objects, much like some of yours. There were two tall candle stands (I think more than one metre tall), a heavy vase, a large platter, and a heavy unusual round bell. My father and mother are both gone now and I have no idea what became of the objects. I think my brother's either divided them or sold them. It's funny as it was years ago and seeing your creation here reminded me of them.
