I was working outside with a table saw a few years ago when there was a heavy cicada presence.  One of them kept circling my head, around and around for a good two minutes.  Finally, I swatted it with my hat and it dove down onto the running table saw and it's head was sheared off.  The body was stuck against the saw's fence.
