Birte smiled. If anyone could help her think through this, it was Yasmin — a long-time friend and confidante. Not corporate. Not caught in the swirl of shareholder pressure. Just someone who listened well and spoke truth gently.

Minutes later, she stepped into the quiet corner café where they always met — tucked away from the sleek lines of finance and the buzz of power ties and quarterly reports. Yasmin was already seated, sipping her mint tea, her own face uncovered but her scarf neatly pinned. ...
