Acts 26:17-18,22-23 [NIV]
'I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come—that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.”

A classical-style scene depicts the Apostle Paul on trial in a basilica. The image evokes the chiaroscuro style, with regal figures in tunics and togas, reminiscent of historical paintings.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. (Psalm 19:14 KJV)
We have a plaque with this scripture carved in it hanging in our bedroom so that I am reminded of it every day. I pray it for myself, those I love, and even people I don't know, daily. Our words have POWER. Power to heal, and power to destroy. Give extra thought to how you use your words each day.
Thank you ALL for playing in the Bible and Faith Room "Speak Life" challenge. Pez will have a new challenge posted for us on Saturday, and we hope to see you all again then. Abundant Blessings to you all. 🙏🕊🤗
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (Matthew 12:36-37)
Very wonderful creation about Speak Life ! That's really well thought out.
This is one of my favorite stories, and so sad that Agrippa was "Almost" persuaded. Perfect example of speaking life and the power of our words. Congrats on 3rd place! 👏🙏🕊🥉

4:3

One of the saddest verses of the Bible.
