Rex holstered the cannon with a flourish that made three technicians reconsider their entire life path.  
Varo flexed, and the overhead lights dimmed as if the power grid itself blushed.  
Together they stepped forward, sweat glistening, alpha energy radiating, the kind of men the universe clearly built as a flex.
