One look at the cathedral, and nobody would even know that a living soul hasn't stepped in it in years. It somehow manages to stay in perfect shape, looking as good as new. It was as if somebody, or somebodies were still around, taking care of this holy structure.
Nobody quite knows what happened to those who held worship within the cathedral, though many myths and stories have made their way around. Some folks suggest the original worshippers formed a cult and all passed away, showing their devotion to the cathedral. The more superstitious citizens tell stories of something unholy possessing the structure and driving the worshippers into madness. Some even go as far as to believe the original worshippers never left.

Opening the creaking doors, Jaye enters the old cathedral, greeted by an eerie emptiness. There were pews, and a podium, but nothing else, no large grand Organ, no hymn books, nothing other than empty pews and a freshly stained wooden podium.

Dozens of incoherent voices tried to speak to her. A chill ran down the young woman's spine as she looked around, desperate to find the source of the whispering.
Fear took over as she began to feel cold lifeless hands all over her, grabbing and almost clawing at her. Was she going crazy, just spooked by the horror stories told, or was she not alone? The voices grew louder and more coherent, calling out to her, begging for her help. "Save us..."
The voices grew louder and angrier, the hands grew stronger and more aggressive, the feeling of danger grew more and more. She had to leave. (Continued)
