I went through them in order and read your collection description completely. I too have struggled with this diagnosis. They called mine type 2, as I really don't hit a true manic phase unless I incorporate excessive stimulants or opioids into the equation. And substance abuse, PTSD, anxiety, and chronic pain are all a part of my equation as well. I've been "off Rx" and "self medicated" with over the counter and herbal remedies (and lots and lots of prayer and Faith) for nearly 20 years now. I have a good support system around me and yes ... A coping handbook and an emergency plan. DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) seems to be the most helpful for me when I am experiencing emotional crisis and unable to find stability with my regular coping skills. 😍🤗🙏🕊️
