He's seen in this photo, measuring up the "tower" above a bagel store. The owners had the idea of ringing a bell every time a new batch of their World famous bagels were baked and taken out of the ovens. They bake about 3500 bagels a day across about 32 baking sessions. I think I'd really like the smell of freshly baked bagels wafting down my street but I'm not sure I'd be too happy with hearing 32 sessions of bell-ringing 6 days a week! Perhaps they'll just install a little brass school bell and maybe strike it with a soft rubber mallet, or line it with rubber to mute the resonance. 🔔🔔🔔
