For a moment, both of them fell silent. Five thousand years. Ashildr thought of her library and calculated how many tomes she would have to fill for this. Five thousand years... this was an eternity for every conscious being. Still, compared to her life, it was nothing more than the blink of an eye. Then again, she had trouble remembering... For a short moment, she began to miss her journals. When was the last time she had took up her pen and wrote something in a book?
Wrote something in a book. The quiet voice in her head echoed but fell silent again.
There were three of us. The first one to be chosen was glorious, gentle Bastet, the defender of the pharaohs, daughter of divine Isis. Her cunning unmatched, she relied on stealth and intrigue to guard the kingdom. Anubis continued and broke her thoughtful silence.
