In a secluded village, there lived a feral boy with wild hair and a heart full of untamed curiosity. His closest companion was a Snallygaster, a peculiar creature with wings and a beak that made it both fearsome and endearing.

One morning, the Snallygaster slipped away, leaving the feral boy with a heavy heart. As the creature explored, it couldn't resist the temptation of the nearby village chickens, causing chaos and infuriating the villagers.

Determined to mend the situation, the feral boy constructed an elaborate Snallygaster bone contraption, hoping to lure his companion back. However, the Snallygaster had grown wise and avoided the ingenious trap.

Amidst the chaos, a billygoat-goblin living in seclusion grew annoyed by the Snallygaster's antics. In a burst of frustration, he transformed into his monstrous form and scared the Snallygaster nearly to death. Terrified, the creature fled back to the feral boy for safety.

Unbeknownst to the feral boy, the billy-goat-goblin secretly modified the contraption. It now captured pheasants and other fowl, relieving the farmers of their anger. The feral boy, grateful for the unexpected help, worked alongside the villagers to repay them.

The farmers taught the feral boy the art of maintaining secure cages, and in return, he shared his understanding of the Snallygaster's ways.
