A troop carrier that uses ground effect and channel wings to hover, the Criosphinx is faster than any treaded or wheeled IFV or APC. Its top speed of 357 mph makes it able to both deliver and evacuate troops quickly. But its greatest strength is also its greatest weakness; the Criosphinx has crashed more often than any other vehicle in its class due to its sheer speed that makes it hard to control.

The Criosphinx's air brakes fairly often can't slow it down fast enough to avoid either missing the drop zone or crashing. To stop this from happening, HMS designers began outfitting the Criosphinx with a parachute much like a space shuttle to help its air brakes slow the vehicle. It can carry up to 20 troopers and their equipment.
