The Mayor's Playground-- I.V. Entity #1940-- Threat Level Epsilon Violet (STORY ALERT-SEE DESCRIPTION FOR STORY)

A playground appears in a dying forest. Dazed children appear a few moments later. A tinny, breathy, unsettling voice rattles from a severed PA speaker on a nearby tree. The voice says only one thing. "The Mayor Is Coming." The children's faces pale and they look at each other in terror. They have no idea what is going on, but their survival instincts kick in and one word seems to scream inside each of their heads. "HIDE!" As the last child finds a hiding spot, the forest itself seems to groan in protest, and a chill wind cuts across the playground, carrying an off key sing song voice. "Come out, come out, where e'er you may be. No reason to run, no reason to flee. Come out, come out, where e'er you may be. No reason to run, no reason to flee." The Mayor Was Coming...
