The raucous masquerade is underway, Guests dance as wine flows freely down, The hearth glows hot in crimson gown, While carriages line up in proud array!
Bengal lights crackle through the night, The reveling crowds cry out in glee... Let endless be this revelry – Let it be just like they delight!
