The image actually depicts, however loosely, an event in my life when I was no more than six or seven years of age. I was informed by my grandmother, who had full custody of me, that I could keep the goose on our property, provided I could catch it. It proved to be a literal "wild goose chase" for the pursuing party (myself!).
