The stars and sky are an important aspect of Crow Indian religion and culture. However, there is more mystery and a subtle hint of terror when considering Skyworld. After all, the sun, moon, stars, clouds, lightning, and thunder are all denizens of this place. It is a world we know little about, but recognize how important it is.
I will be sharing stories from Crow Indian mythology in June on YouTube, I hope you can join me then. Follow me for updates here and in the NightCafe groups on Facebook and Reddit. Also if you click on my Instagram there will be updates there as well.

This image shows a Native American chief gazing at a complex, infinite universe. The artwork evokes Hieronymus Bosch's style, depicting the cosmos as intricate machinery against a backdrop of tipis and starry skies.
