The "Root Raptor" or also called "Root Ambush Hunter" is a damn nasty creature that you should definitely avoid.
He is very similar to the "Wooden Devil" in terms of the way he hunts, his behavior and his physical characteristics.

"He is big, strong, has abnormally long and sharp claws and a mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth..." 
and he has also

"...such a hard shell that you can only do something against him with...." 

"...because his "skin" or rather his shell is made of living, "regrowing" wood."

But there is something else...
I will explain it to you in more detail in the next 2 pictures, because you will see it there too!
