The whole family had been hard at work with final preparations for the Christmas festivities. Henry as chef de cuisine, with Mom as his more than able and willing sous. The boys had initiated Vicky and Jo into a family tradition, stringing lights in two yellowwoods that Henry and Beth had planted to mark their births. Wow! You outdid yourself, Charlie! This is just gorgeous! I'm more familiar with pictures of Table Mountain at this angle. No mistaking it! I love that the moon is a normal size and not looking like it's about the crash into the Earth as NC often shown them. You know I'm not fond of little dogs but I adore sheep dogs so I'm glad you included them. The picture looks so amazing!
You know I'm interested in plant species and I looked up yellowwood. But there is a species known as real yellowwood aka South African yellowwood (Podocarpus latifolius) and also another called common yellowwood (Afrocarpus falcatus). Which ones are these and do they grow quickly?
