• This is my submission to the "Tennis in Action" Daily Carnage #584 of May 19th, 2024.

Rafa Nadal is the best tennis player of all time (equalled -- in my opinion -- only by Roger Federer) and -- always in my opinion -- the greatest sportsman of all time in every sport.

He won 22 Major Titles, 36 Masters 1000, 5 Davis Cups with the Spanish team, 2 Olympic Gold Medals (Beijing 2008 in singles and Rio 2016 in doubles). He's one of the only 4 players in history to have completed the Double Career Grand Slam (winning at least two times each of the four GS titles).

This year it'll be his last year on the ATP tour. Sigh. 😢
