I haven't really tried doing spaceships (besides the occasional classical alien saucer; 🛸) . And when I see them in science fiction (or other) challenges I'm also rarely satisfied (of course, I am a huge SF fan, so I might also be extra critical!). Point is, you might be right that getting good spaceships can be a challenge! I love the abstract nature of this one though! (Not sure I'd thought "spaceship" if I'd seen it without your description; but it does have that Independence Day mothership kinda look to it - modulo the colors of course. ^^ In any case, I like it!
