Church CodeFolk Commander (ca. 3615)

Serving as the police force and drawn from the local population anonymously, Church CodeFolk are kept anonymous by a multi-species mask and uniform. While few citizens of any nation opposed the police aspect of CodeFolk, conscription to fight a war certainly was, leading to mass desertions of Loyalist troops called up by the Church in the first year of the Great War. Post-war, CodeFolk were no longer required to wear a mask, and any conscription into a fighting force was prohibited.
