Ariawyn faces her God

"William stay with me!" Ariawyn yells at the lifeless body of the famed healer as she runs through the forest. She doesn't even notice as she enters a grove with pillars all about. Ariawyn suddenly hears a disembodied booming voice echo in her head. "Ahrial-yn Leoxidor" Ariawyn freezes how many millenia had it been since last she heard that voice. She places William's corpse against one of the pillars and immediately enters into prayer. "I once granted you conditional immortality, however the limitations of your body made it so your immortality could never be undone." "Yes." Is all Ariawyn can muster. "You truly care for this human?" The voice asks. "Yes." "Would you give your immortality for this human?" "Yes." "Then I revoke your immortality "Ahrial-yn Leoxidor and grant you back the life of this man here this promise and know it well this human will see three hundred years at your side before a gray hair touches his head."
