Japanese Pop-Up Book

This is to explore Katsushika Hokusai. The artist did some great monster/ghost ukiyo-e prints. He also did traditional ones like "Under the Wave off Kanagawa" ~ inspired by @CaylaCatz

Hana sat on a rickety stool on Kai's rooftop, a comfortable silence settling between them. Finn nudged Kai and said, "Hey Kai, remember that pop-up book your artist friend wanted you to buy but then flaked on you? Hana might be interested."

Kai chuckled and went to retrieve the book from downstairs. "This one? It's a real work of art." He winked at Finn.

The cover intrigued Hana's curiousity, "Let's see what his friend flakes."

Kai let Hana opened the book. A gasp escaped Hana's lips as a breathtaking vista of a Japanese mountain range and a serene temple nestled amongst the peaks unfolded before her. Even Maya, who was quite reserved, leaned in with a hint of awe in her eyes.
