Phantom Gaze: The Observer can phase between cameras without warning, sometimes causing other cameras to glitch momentarily as it moves. If the player isn’t careful, the Observer can appear unexpectedly, disrupting their plans.
Blink Illusion: This variant can create false “copies” of itself on random cameras. Players must distinguish between the real Observer and the decoys, as focusing on a decoy too long will briefly paralyze the player, leaving them vulnerable to other creatures.
All-Encompassing Watch: Occasionally, the Observer will take control of all cameras for a brief moment, scanning each one simultaneously. If the player is watching a camera when this happens, they will trigger an instant game-over. To avoid this, the player must close the monitor or switch off all cameras briefly to break the gaze.
