You've made a nice participation to the "Think On These Things" Challenge. Be blessed.
One of my favorites. I don't know where I ranked it but it was in the top 3.
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. (Psalm 63:1-4)
It isn't what the world teaches, but our minds, our very souls, belong to Him. When we offer up to Him our fears, doubts, and personal hurts, He is faithful to replace those with His love, grace, and mercy. So grateful to each and every one of you for your Spirit-inspired work. As the world falls apart all around us, we can take comfort in knowing this: Jesus is coming back soon. God bless you all and thank you again ššš
This to me captured the theme of this challenge the most perfectly, and especially because of nearby verse to think not of things of the world (paraphrasing from memory here) which all around her you can see the distractions of the world, but her mind is still focused on Jesus. Great job!
I am one of your +2 more #1 ranks! This was absolutely my favorite! Not long ago, hubby and I were stuck in a dirty downtown slum apartment because it's all we could afford. There was violence, chaos, filth, and all manner of evil around us. But... We did our best to constantly keep our thoughts on Jesus and the promises of His Word! Even after being brought into a magnificent home with our church family, when things "look good" and in many ways ARE much better than before, we still have those moments that are hard to bear with one another. But Jesus makes it possible! Well done! You'll be getting a 10 credits tip as my personal favorite choice!
This might be the best interpretation of the theme. All the chaos melts away when we set our minds on Christ. Beautiful work; every week you show something inspiring. Thank you š
