In case you read my comment, please allow me to rephrase:  I had a feeling / hoped you might. No-one survives to adulthood without a few cracks. I've learned a lot from Marcia.  She can sometimes be a bit of an airhead, but I like to think her instincts are sound.  I like to think she might have started humming the theme from La Cage aux Folles.

It’s okay I hadn’t read the original message(s). I do that sometimes, reply too quickly and then think hang on. I got the reference and this idea resonates with me too. Hopefully like a broken bone the healed section is stronger than the original although it is visible in this case. Yes we are all a little broken by life. I do sometimes find myself humming and smiling when my heart is breaking maybe a little air headed too. And I can so hear her humming the theme from La Cage aux Folles. 😂
