Prismcaps

Deep within the misty hollows of the Everglow Forest, where rainlight filters through crystal leaves, the Prismcaps grow - mushrooms whose glassy domes shimmer with every hue of the visible spectrum (and a few that mortal eyes cannot name).

Stories tell of how they were born when a storm spirit wept into the soil after ruining a rainbow. Each droplet which touches the ground sprouted a Prismcap; a living apology made of colour and light.

At dawn. the caps glow softly, pulsing with pastel warmth. At night, they radiate vivid beams that dance like auroras across the underbush. Fae gather beneath them for secret revels, and alchemists covet their spores, said to brew elixirs of inspiration.
