Orion, the great hunter meet his end by the attack of a scorpion, in some sources a giant scorpion. According to the myth, there is two versions, one that Gaia the goddess of earth make born a giant scorpion to punish and slay Orion because he brag about hunt every animal. Other version is that Artemis, the goddess of the hunt and wildlife sent the giant scorpion to slay him because he tried to assault her. In almost all sources and versions, Orion tragically dies.
