In a shore far from there, Gertrude smiled triumphantly at an open briefcase. Inside, the air crackled with unnatural energy. Miniaturized waves crashed against a tiny lighthouse, the lantern sputtering a last defiant glow.

Gertrude's eyes fixated on the figure trapped within it – Morwen, her sister and her coven leader, shrunk by a spell of exquisite cruelty. "It's foolish to think that your dark magic could outmaneuver mine."
