There's an easier way to get the exact text you want with absolutely no errors. You use the inpainting tool that's available when you use a start image. What you do is add the text to either your own artwork, a copyright free image or one of your downloaded nightcafe images using an image editor. Most allow you to add text to an image. You then upload that image as a start image and inpaint everything but the text, (and anything else you want to preserve in the image). Have a look at my artwork with text to see the sort of results you get. 

I could, but I didn't want to spend the credits.  I was just goofing around with DALL-E on Bing to see what it would do with some lyric prompts.

You don't have to spend credits. Uploading is free, the inpainting tool is free and you don't have to use any of the other tools that charge credits. Then you can just apply the free models. No credits involved.
