The humming soothed her. Ashildr was sleeping and breathing shallow but steadily. Clara sat at the control console and tried to sort out what happened. She had seen the golden light, but she could not make heads or tails of it. When she had travelled the Doctor's time stream she had seen Rose staring into the heart of the TARDIS. She had been there when they were stranded on the planet that tried to feed on the TARDIS. She had heard the Doctor say she was alive, but... Clara looked away, trying to avoid the TARDIS' gaze. You're hurting. she finally said. Darn right I am, what happened? Ashildr interrupted Clara's one-sided conversation. Confused for a second Clara smiled and turned to her friend. We barely escaped the scorpions on the desert planet. Don't you remember?
