Desperate Longing for Love 🥀💔

A heart aches with the hope of love, A sweet blossom of compassion, like honey, like a luscious rose, But mixed with it is fear of disdain and neglect and a vicious dispose, It’s an aching, a jabbing knife, much more than just a shove.

How it longs for the generosity of an affectionate gesture, Like a light, cozy vesture; The joy it’d express would be greater than many might show, But to this heart, it’d be like the melting of lonely snow.

Yet it receives nothing like this, Absent of the sweet bliss of a loving kiss. And in the loneliness of its current state, It takes all its determination to want to stay at this rate.
