I wanted a view featuring the fishing boats, with the main restaurants of Fisherman's Grotto and Alioto's on the left, the stores in the center, and Castagnola's on the right.
This is the best that I could get, which has the elements, but not the desired visual beauty nor the geographic accuracy. It does give the impression of crowded busyness without the ugliness of some piers that showed up in other images.
