Charlotte gently picked it up and observed its intricate patterns. Her curious mind marvelled at its star shape. For a while, her young mind battled what to do. Should she take it to her parents, sitting on a beach blanket not far from her? Her parents would know what to do. Should she toss it back into the water? It might just get washed up again.
