The original prompt called for the man to be pulp hero Doc Savage (who had his own magazine back in the 1930s and 40s). This man doesn't look like Doc Savage to me, but I had burned a lot of credits by the time I got this far, and I decided his identity doesn't really matter. This picture still looks like the sort of thing that used to happen a lot, back in the heyday of the pulps. MY prompt also asked for the art styles of Gil Elvgren and James Bama.
