Little is known of Kal'thari history or culture, but what few records have been found show that Kal'thari religion was based around a belief in the Source. The Kal'thari believed that life and the universe originated from the Source, and that when life ends, the soul rejoins the Source. The Source could also advise people on their lives, and Kal'thari mystics used entheogenic drugs and magical rituals to communicate with it. The Kal'thari even attempted to build dimensional portals to make contact with the Source; some say this caused them to vanish from the world, leaving their technology behind.
