Can't You See I'm Eating?

You entered the tavern as you usually do by making your way to the barkeep, but this time, something stops you mid-stride.

Seated across the small tavern, almost hidden in the furthest corner, you see a most beautiful sight. Alone in that dark corner is a beautiful wolf woman wearing the telltale robes of a witch. Despite there being two juicy steaks in front of her, she is dining alone.

You cannot help but be drawn to her.

Every instinct screams for you to avoid her, to turn and leave, yet before you know it, your feet are carrying you toward that dark corner--toward that witch.

Lifting her head and conjuring a ball of magic in the same moment, she greets you with a snarl. "Can't You See I'm Eating?"

You stammer over an apology as you try to think up some excuse to talk to her a while longer.
