You went to bed last night in your own bed.  But when you open your eyes, you are in palace of cold, barren stone. You stumble out of bed and wander aimlessly, searching for a way out.

You see a pair of wooden double-doors. An exit, you hope. You open and walk through them.

And there She sits. Pale, majestic, and supremely beautiful. She is your queen. She has had you since you opened the book. You are helpless against Her commands. She will make proper use of you, and you can only pray each night that you will live to see another day.

The gods pity you, but they cannot intervene. You opened the book.  Your old life is over. Your new life belongs to Her.
