The opening scene of the Doctor Who episode Death In Heaven blew my mind. Jenna Coleman saying that Clara Oswald never existed and that she was The Doctor was an incredible pre-titles sequence. Then having the titles come up with her eyes appearing instead of Peter Capaldi’s, and her name first in the credits instead of his left me transfixed. Of course Jenna Coleman wasn’t The Doctor and was Clara Oswald, but it left me with a huge number of ‘What if’s’. What sort of Doctor would she have been like? What would her TARDIS have looked like? Who would she have had as companions? And, what would the opening titles for the following series have looked like? Maybe they would have taken the clocks from Peter Capaldi’s titles and used them for her? Maybe not? What colour scheme would they have chosen? Does it have to be blue because of the TARDIS?
