Nice pic to be included in with the conversation and I would happily have allowed your rendition to pass on the merits of naivety 🤷 but since @Charlie0186 has called on the fact checkers ... this presents me with a very interesting thought, why is it not more common to see this type of structure that allows for a second floor amongst the vernacular; even in the rondavel hut structure this would have been structurally possible yet there does not seem to be any precedent of double story structures throughout Africa. One does come across the odd one or two in the informal townships but it is not often and these would have flat or low pitched roofs
