Ring of Discerning Judgement

This magical ring grants the wearer a +20 competence bonus on Sense Motive checks and even allows the wearer to automatically pick up on all lies of omission and implications made within his hearing. It also grants the wearer a sixth sense that allows them to discern guilt and navigate conversations to reveal truths effortlessly.

While worn, the wearer can also activate the rune up to three times each day to place a judgement upon a guilty party within their presence after they have touched them. This judgement can be used to:

• forbid the target from taking an action
• compel the target to perform an action
• grant bonuses to those attempting to apprehend the subject
• grant penalties to the target for a duration equal to the sentence length of the crime committed.
• harm the subject equivalent to the severity of the crime committed.

For the last two abilities, laws must be published in the country that expressly forbid the action with a listed punishment for the judgement to work.
