Edwin Talva dedicated a portion of the Skyrend Collective to the "recovery plan". All automata belonging to Verner and Talva Co. were to be returned for reprogramming. Those who refused or responded with violence were captured. Not all of the Collective's missions were successful, and when maimed automata remained as a result of these skirmishes, the solution the Children of Steel found was to merge their bodies and minds.
