Dreamshaper XL Lightning
One of my first attempts with "photorealistic"; while I like the result to a certain extent, I have seen much more realistic images on this platform.
Would appreciate any tips and hints on what to emphasize in the prompts and which model(s) to focus on in order to improve the results. Thank you in advance!

It's a lovely portrait and you've had some really helpful and constructive pointers from @GamerFanatic. The only things extra things to add could be including "life-like eyes with catchlights" and "textured skin" in the positive prompt, along with the type of lighting (natural, atmospheric, dramatic etc). And adapt the negative prompt to correct visual errors that inevitably occur.

I personally recommend using the Crystal Clear XL, RealVisXL v4, Juggernaut XL v7, and Fluently XL models for photorealism. All of them have Lightning models you can use too, except for the Juggernaut models. Lightning just means that the AI makes them much faster and uses fewer credits. So I recommend those to save you some credits. I've gotten great results with both the standard and Lightning models. You can add prompt words like high quality, high definition, intricately detailed, and photoreal, for example. And there's an option you should see called Prompt Magic. I recommend keeping that on to make your prompts better. And I also recommend lowering the Refiner Weight for the Crystal Clear XL, RealVisXL v4, and Juggernaut XL v7 standard models. They tend to produce better results.
