Begin The Invasion

All fighter squads are standing by. All landing craft are fully loaded and ready to disembark. The fleet is in position.

I have assembled our forces, and we stand ready to conquer this planet beneath us. The humans call it Earth.

Its defenses are pitiful, it's people weak and divided.

But there is life to be found here. Blue seas, green land. The atmosphere in peril, but with our technology, it can be saved.

I pity the humans below. It's not that fault that their planet has everything we need and not enough room to share.

I have changed my form, the better to liaise with the humans. But was my work inexact?

This frame is too thin, the hair is too long. This footwear is entirely impractical.

I look out the window at the planet below, so full of hope for our people, though the humans will pay the price.

I take a breath and clasp my hands behind back. I try to relax. I speak three words under my breath, but it is enough.
