this reminds me of nasa photos I saw in a book (possibly Richard Hoagland's) of moon-scans of a certain crater where it was deep and dark, but on the next three passes of the orbiting craft taking the photos (don't remember know which) the crater would be slightly closed, then half closed, and then finally, all the way closed and looked like any other filled in crater...remarkably clear shots! also, others showing "tracks from some kind of vehicle, going across the surface, down into a crater, and coming up and out the other side of said crater."....yeah, something is/has been going on up there, for a long, long time.
