Dogs Doing Human Jobs

Rex, a fire fighter Malamute with a badge as big as his heart, completed his inspection with a flourish. As he turned to leave, the building erupted in flames. Chaos ensued. Rex, despite his size and fur, navigated the inferno with surprising agility.

He rescued a bewildered little bunny, its whiskers singed, from the heart of the blaze. Emerging from the smoke-filled building, soot-covered and slightly singed himself, Rex held the grateful bunny close.

He had saved a life, a small victory amidst the chaos. But as he surveyed the damage, a thought occurred to him: "I should probably get fire insurance."

The irony, of course, was not lost on him. A fire marshal, ironically, had almost become a victim of a fire. He chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound that echoed through the smoke-filled air.
