Etaria Haedros

Sorceress Supreme to Fafnia during the second age. Hers is a much more controversial rise in sorcerous power. This is due to the fact that her power was not granted by Ymerah like all True Sorcerers, but was not stolen out of hubris, pride, naivety, or desperation like most False Sorcerers. Her power was given to her by the dragon Matrias, holder of vast arcane power. Etaria did not directly seek out this power. Matrias granted it to Etaria as a method of saving the draconin woman's life. Many generations later, it is commonly accepted among draconic society that she belongs amongst the roster of True Sorcerers, due to the protection she gave to Fafnia against the Children of the Aeturan.
