Thank you for the tip, Margeus Overthinkus Maximus @MargevonMarge. I intend a humorous aspect to this concept. At the same time, there is a serious aspect to it: could complete body replacement become a commercial reality if sci-fi cybernetics ever be achievable? What will it be like to discover that your body is now 'out of date', let alone no longer meeting the latest fashion?

I wish I could get a body replacement for one that didn't hurt! Of course the question is also... who will be able to afford them? Who deserves a second chance?  

 Will there be Honda bodies and Porche bodies?  

I can see your prompt now and that certainly adds to the debate, for sure and reflects what I was thinking. Who are we in debt to simply to stay alive?  

Truly a worthwhile subject to explore. 



Yes, you have spotted my sci-fi way of paying for it, not made clear on the image (it is on other versions I have but this is the best with the cyborgs). If it should come about, yes there will be many manufacturers competing and Porche is a great example: someone already with a reputation for quality and style. Another image I have paired JCB with Gucci as manufacturers 😄 

At some point, corporations will be competing to replace your body and turn you into a cyborg. This will mean mechanical improvements and new designs just like in every other field. Companies will merge and collaborate to produce appealing mechanised bodies. Welcome to the late 21st century.
