Yes, you do like squirrels! I'm curious where you are (roughly) since I think the English/European red squirrels are the cutest. I live in BC Canada, the very southwest corner. We have grey squirrels which have a bit of tan colouring with the grey. We also have black squirrels, same species but are melanistic. Because the majority of the trees are conifers and we have dreary wet overcast winters, the animals and birds too tend to be darker and more drab. Enables them to slip past predators better. We also have Douglas squirrels. I've only seen them twice as their dwellings are away from people. They're not bold like grey squirrels but are they ever cute! Smaller, less bushy tails and tinier ears. A person could mistake them for young squirrels instead.
