Tips I've gathered from users and myself:
Coherent gen works the best if you give it a starting image, even if it's just nonsense like static. It also works very well to use artistic first, then switch to to coherent. Vice versa also works well! According to a user better with it than I: using square images helps it, and it's advised to just crank the "how much it resembles" to max.
