Never made it to Prague but always wanted to visit. Should have done it while I lived in Europe. 

It's been a long time since I was there. In the 1980s, there were really long queues outside stores on the street when something new was delivered. Once when I was there, there was a big delivery of pants (all the same type and color). The next day you saw a lot of people walking down the street wearing the same pants.  

That is a bizarre but interesting story. My (Papa's) family is originally from Hungary and I never made there either. Traveled a lot in Italy, France etc. 

In the 1980s very often in towns of east Europe the people were waiting in long lines in front of a shop. However, the display in shop windows and in front of the stores was not as rich as in this picture.
